Hi, Ronald here,
And thank you for visiting my review site called ´ How Early Can You Detect Pregnancy Information ´.
How early can you detect pregnancy symptoms...
...or how early can you feel pregnant??, this really does depend on the woman, especially for any early signs from within, the onset and degree of pregnancy symptoms will vary quite considerably. Some women seem to know they are pregnant from the moment of conception. As hormone levels increase rapidly during very early pregnancy and because your body will start to go through a lot of changes. Some women start to feel symptoms as early as implantation when the embryo attaches itself to the uterus (6-12 days after ovulation). Others will begin to feel symptoms around when they period is due (12-14 days past ovulation).
It is frustrating to realize that many pregnancy symptoms are very similar to those that occur right before menstruating. However, combined with high temperatures and feeling a little lethargic too(due to the amount progesterone circulating through your body) and a longer luteal phase - they are key indications that you are pregnant.
Other Symptoms:
Morning Sickness – This is quite common, many women experience this is the morning but others will have it in the afternoon or evening; and some unfortunately throughout the entire day.
Swollen Uterus - The uterus will start to enlarge for the growing fetus immediately; this also puts pressure on your bladder, making you feel the need for more frequent urination. Many women will start to feel this symptom within a week or two after pregnancy has occurred.
Swollen or Tender Breasts - Your breasts may become very tender, swollen and begin to increase in size. The veins within the breast will become more visible. Your nipples may start to darken in colour, become more erect and very sensitive. These symptoms are due to increasing amount of HCG hormone.
Bleeding (spotting) - This can occur about 8 days from ovulation. It usually happens around the same time you would have had your period. Some women assume they have started their period when in fact they are pregnant. The spotting is caused from implantation, which is when the fertilized egg burrows into the endometrial lining.
Dizziness or Fainting - When standing, you may feel dizzy or even faint. The growing uterus compresses major arteries in your legs, which causes your blood pressure to drop and make you extremely light-headed. Missing meals or going too long without eating may cause you to feel dizzy or faint. Not eating frequently enough causes low blood sugar, blood sugar is the primary source of food for your baby, so it will be depleted much more quickly.
How early can you use a pregnancy test kit?
How early can you test for pregnancy using a pregnancy test kit or when can you take a pregnancy test?, you can do a pregnancy test from the first day of your missed period, first signs of pregnancy. If you have regular periods, you’ll more than likely know when this is.
If you’re not sure when your next period is due, you can do a pregnancy test 21 days after you last had unprotected sex.
This is a really good test kit for pregnancy detection:
There are some pregnancy test kits which are designed to be very sensitive and can detect pregnancy even before you miss a period.
Check the packaging of your kit to find out more, and when it can be used.
What is being tested?
Pregnancy tests check for the presence of the pregnancy hormone, HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) in your urine.
About two weeks after you conceive (when the sperm fertilises the egg), your body begins to produce enough HCG for most pregnancy tests to detect.
When did I conceive?
To conceive, an egg needs to be released from your ovaries (ovulation). How to detect ovulation? This usually happens about 14 days after the first day of your last period.
An egg lives for about 24 hours after it’s released. So for you to get pregnant, a sperm must fertilise the egg within this time.
Sperm can live for up to seven days inside your body. This means, if you have sex up to seven days before you ovulate, or within a day or so of ovulating, you could conceive.
If you are trying to get pregnant, you should have sex every two to three days throughout the month. You don’t need to time it to coincide with the days when you ovulate.
Around seven days after you conceive, HCG might be noticeable in your urine in very low levels, though this varies from woman to woman. Most test kits need a higher level of HCG to give a positive result.
Pregnancy Test Results
A positive test result is almost certainly correct. If you do a pregnancy test on the first day of your missed period, and it’s positive, it’s probably about two weeks since you conceived. You can use any online due date calculator to work out when your baby is due; you can find a very reliable one here GivingBirthNaturally.com
A negative result is less reliable. If you still think you’re pregnant after a negative result, wait a week and try again, or go and see your doctor
Testing after a miscarriage, abortion or ectopic pregnancy
If you’ve had a miscarriage, an abortion or an ectopic pregnancy, it’s possible that a pregnancy test may still show as positive for a few weeks, even though you’re no longer pregnant. This is because HCG may still be present in your body.
You may want to get advice about this from your doctor.
